Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian often share updates about their daughter Olympia with their fans through social media. Recently, Ohanian revealed their night-time routine with their daughter.
In an Instagram post, the Reddit co-founder, a devoted father who values spending time with his daughter, revealed that every night he asks Olympia to ask him a big question, which he promises to answer if he knows it. When Olympia asked him who was the first artist, Ohanian answered that many years ago some little girl like Olympia might have been the first artist who did a painting on the wall inside the cave. “I ask @olympiaohanian to bring a BIG question to the dinner table every night; I promise I’ll always answer it if I know, or (as is often the case) we’ll look it up together,” Ohanian wrote on his Instagram post.
“This night, she asked “who was the first artist?” so we got to look up cave paintings together as I tried to explain we have no idea exactly who, but do know tens of thousands of years ago some little girl like her was making art on the walls of caves she lived in,” Ohanian added. Alexis Ohanian says Barack Obama gave him good advice on parenting
In a recent interview with E!, Alexis Ohanian revealed some “good advice” former USA president Barack Obama gave on parenting.
“The man you are to your wife is man that your daughter is going to see and come to expect. So, remember every time you’re with your wife, you are role-modeling that behavior not just for your daughter but for whoever she’s going to get to know in her later life,” Ohanian said.
Ohanian then added that he is doing his best work to set an example for Olympia which also includes investing in a women’s soccer team called Angel City FC and that he is trying his best to help “amazing women do great things“. The soccer team’s story will be told in an HBO docuseries called Angel City which will start in May this year.
Tennis legend Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian tied the knock in November 2017 in New Orleans and welcomed their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. that same year. Serena, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, bid adieu to the sport in September 2022.
