Former World No. 1 Martina Navratilova once again criticized Twitter CEO Elon Musk for the new drama that happened on Friday. Twitter removed the blue tick which was considered a mark of authenticity for users. Now only those who will pay a monthly subscription of $8 will have their names under the verified category.
On Friday, several notable people from all over the world found their verified accounts removed from Twitter. This created a commotion on the micro-blogging platform. Navratilova has always been critical of Musk for his controversial decisions since becoming the CEO of the social media company last year. Around the world, Twitter users shared their disapproval of Musk’s new decisions and one of the fans called slammed him for not being innovative.
“We were told that Elon was a genius but absolutely nothing he’s done with Twitter has suggested a very basic level of intelligence. It’s been blunder after blunder, no grand plan, not one innovation or change that most Twitter users would say was good for the platform,” a fan tweeted.

Martina Navratilova had earlier slammed Elon Musk
She had previously slammed the billionaire when he announced that the users who want to keep their blue checkmark, will need to play a monthly sum of $8.
“I didn’t ask for the blue check mark- it just showed up one day, so feel free to take it away. My peeps know it’s me,” she tweeted.
A couple of months ago, she protested that she is getting lots of feeds from right-wing political posts and blamed Musk for this.
“Why am I getting tweets on my feed from right wingers, Fox News etc?!? I didn’t want that on my feed. Never happened until Musk took over, WTAF?!?,” Navratilova had said.
She then added that she had never communicated with those posts related to right-wing politics. Despite that, she is getting those posts on her feed.
