In 2016, tennis saw a rising star from Japan that was set to rule the WTA. It was a twenty-year-old teenager, Naomi Osaka. In the same season, she won her first Grand Slam title at the 2018 US Open by defeating Serena Williams.
As the seasons passed, she kept winning games and several titles. So far, she has won seven WTA titles, which includes four Grand Slam tournaments. But in 2021, she decided to take some rest from the sport. Well, Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka is set to return to the court in 2024.
