The 2024 WTA season has begun with multiple tennis tournaments. One was a WTA 500-tier tournament in Brisbane called the Brisbane International. The second was a WTA 250-tier tournament in Auckland called the ASB Classic. Top-ranked players in the WTA ranking made their participation in the respective tournaments. Finally, after great competition, Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina won the Auckland and Brisbane Championships, respectively.

- Quarterfinal vs. Varvara Gracheva (6-1, 6-1)
- Semifinal vs. Emma Navarro (6-3, 6-1)
- Final vs. Elina Svitolina (6-7, 6-3, 6-3)

Elena Rybakina Brisbane International Championship Journey (WTA 500)
- Round of 32 vs. Olivia Gadecki (6-4, 6-1)
- Round of 16 vs. Elise Mertens (6-1, 6-0)
- Quarterfinal vs. Anastasia Potapova (6-1 and retired)
- Semifinal vs. Linda Noskova (6-3, 6-2)
- Final vs. Aryna Sabalenka (6-0, 6-3)

Both players dominated their respective tournaments. Leaving Coco Gauff’s final, every game was won in straight sets. Coco Gauff has carried her 2024 season form into the 2024 season. On the other hand, Elena Rybakina has begun her 2024 season with a bang. She defeated the world’s second-ranked player, Aryna Sabalenka, with ease.
This was just the first couple of tournaments of the 2024 season, and we have witnessed destructive performances by Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina. This dominance by both players will boost their confidence for the upcoming tournaments, especially the Australian Open.
