Here is the complete statement:

“The hardest battle isn’t the physical one; it is more mental. Going on the court every night and fighting for your team. Fight because somebody else in front of you wants to kill you.”

In his first NBA season, he was called the star of the San Antonio Spurs. Whether the team wins or loses, the spotlight has always been on him. Even before the game, his matchups and competitions are placed ahead of him.

So far, he has started in all games for the Spurs and has spent almost 30 minutes on the court. In all the games he has played in, he has been the top contributor. But the results aren’t favoring their side.

The San Antonio Spurs have a record of 10–40 in the season. They are at the bottom of the West Conference and almost out of the playoffs. As a team, they have one of the worst offense and defense ratings of the season.

All these will indirectly affect Wembanyama and his performance. On a scale of 1-10, how much will you rate Wembanyama’s performance? Let us know your views in the comment section.
