Philadelphia 76ers vs Brooklyn Nets Final Injury Report date – 6/03/2023: Is Joel Embiid Playing against Brooklyn Nets Tonight?

When Joel Embiid was unavailable, the Philadelphia 76ers were still able to compete.

Is Joel Embiid Playing Against Brooklyn Nets?

Joel Embiid will not play in Game 4 of the Philadelphia 76ers’ series against the Brooklyn Nets. If they defeat the Nets on Saturday, Philly could sweep them.

In Game 3, Joel Embiid appeared injury-free and finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal. Embiid contributed to the 76ers’ 102-97 victory with a game-high 38 minutes of play and a key block against Spencer Dinwiddie.

The last time Joel Embiid missed an NBA game because of an injury was on Mar. 27, when the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic were the opponents. Since the 76ers have already clinched the third seed, they held him out of their last two regular-season contests. For the playoffs, Philly wanted to keep him rested and healthy.
