LeBron James becomes the second player in NBA history to reach 38,000 points

LeBron James is currently fewer than 400 points away from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA's all-time greatest scorer.

On Sunday, LeBron James became just the second player in NBA history to reach 38,000 career points. Moving him closer to Kareem Abdul-all-time Jabbar’s record.

In the first quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ home game against the Philadelphia 76ers, LeBron James, who is in his 20th NBA season. He made a mid-range jump shot to surpass the 38,000-point mark.
