Boston Celtics Vs Golden State Warriors Game-3, Match Report, Post Match Analysis, Highlights and Score, Best Performers, Lineups, Key Takeaways and Conclusion – NBA Finals 8 June

It will be a very hard task for the Warriors who will have a void to fill and pose for a comeback after as the Celtics brushed them aside in the hotly contested Game-3 and looks ever more determined to wrap the finals on a hurry.

The Celtics have dominated the game last night as their defense has managed to keep the Warriors on the back seat despite the brilliance of Curry and Thompson, who were simply sensational on the night. Despite the brilliance of Curry, who managed to grab 31 points with 4 rebounds and also helped his team by providing 2 assists the Warriors looked by far the second best.  His fellow teammate Klay Thompson also gave his all in the match and notched 25 points with the Warriors getting destroyed in the fourth quarter of the match where the Celtics managed to pick up 23 points with the Warriors grabbing only 11 points.

The match was pretty much in for the Warriors after the first three quarters when the score was 93-89 for the Warriors, but little did we know that the brilliance of Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown was coming so late. They came up with a scintillating reply to secure the match in the last minutes of the match and finally win it 116-100 by a huge margin. Marcus Smart grabbed 24 points while Jaylen Brown also supported him by netting 27 points to put the Celtics on a huge 2-1 lead in the tie.

Golden State Warriors Match Report

Although the Warriors were counted as one of the favorites to win the NBA this year, they have been left stunned by the performance of their opponent and it looks like a huge upset for Steve Kerr’s side. Draymond Green and Kevon Looney have been kept shut for the entire game and the only players to step up on the night were Steph Curry and Klay Thompson who have been running their best form but their teammates couldn’t provide the support they needed in the last quarter. Kevon Looney had a bad day in the business having to cope up against Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown who tore him apart and took the game away from the Warriors.

Ime Udoka’s men are in a gallant form at the moment and almost all of his players have scored in double digits per game this season. Although after the first three quarters, the scores were looking quite close, the Celtics managed to pick themselves up at the right time and stun their opponents. With the experience of Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown in their squad, the Celtics were always the favorites going in into the match. But the majority of credit goes to the back in the back Robert Williams III who kept the Warriors forwards away from scoring and even supported the team with some vital points when needed.

Best Performers
