Alexander Volkanovski joins the all-time elite list of UFC

An Australian mixed martial artist made his UFC debut in 2016. He wanted to rule the UFC and be recognized as one of the best fighters in the world. After years of hard work and training, he got his hand on the UFC featherweight championship in 2020. Today, he made his place on the all-time elite list of the UFC. I am talking about UFC fighter Alexander Volkanovski.

As mentioned, Volkanovski got his hands on the UFC featherweight championship in 2020, and since then, he hasn’t let go of the belt from his hands. As a result, Volkanovski made his place in the UFC for the most consecutive days as a champion.

Most Consecutive Days as Champion in UFC History

  1. Anderson Silva: 2,457 days (UFC Middleweight Champion)
  2. Demetrious Johnson: 2,142 days (UFC Flyweight Champion)

Alexander Volkanovski has so far defended the UFC featherweight title five times. Moreover, the number can be six if he successfully defends his title at UFC 298 against Ilia Topuria.

Volkanovski has fought 15 fights in the UFC ring and won 13. The two fights that he has lost in the ring were when he fought in the lightweight division. This concludes that Volkanovski is undefeated in the UFC featherweight division.

Undoubtedly, Volkanovski is one of the best fighters in UFC history.
