Alex Pereira wants to headline UFC 301 in Brazil!

UFC 300: Pereira vs. Hill is one of the most anticipated events in MMA recently. The reason is that not one or two but three title fights will be happening in the T-Mobile Arena. Alex Pereira will defend his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship in one of these title fights.

There was a lot of drama for the UFC 300 main event. Finally, Pereira stepped in and will defend his title against Jamahal Hills at the main event of UFC 300. But that’s not it. Pereira also wants to defend his title at UFC 301, which will take place in Brazil.

Alex Pereira said:

“I want to defend my title in UFC 301. I want to defend the title in my country.”

Is there a possibility of Alex Pereira headlining UFC 301?

The gap between UFC 300 and UFC 301 is only three weeks. Pereira will face Hill at UFC 300, and if he manages to defend his title, he will surely like to fight again. But this seems difficult.

Recovery will be one of the factors that will affect his chances of headlining back-to-back events.

However, UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Raquel Pennington can headline UFC 301. Pennington became the new women’s bantamweight champion at UFC 297 and has a higher chance to headline the event.

But you never know. Alex Pereira is a beast and can bounce back to defend his title.
