Yuki Tsunoda gives a special tribute to Franz Tost

The Alpha Tauri driver, Yuki Tsunoda, gives a special tribute to Franz Tost as his journey as team principal comes to an end by the 2024 season. Tost will no longer be the team principal of the Alpha Tauri Formula 1 team after his impressive 18-season service. As a result, his team driver, Yuki Tsunoda, dedicated a special helmet, which he will be wearing during the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Franz Tost F1 Team Principal Journey

Franz Tost began his F1 Team Principal journey in 2005 with the Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 team. Since then, he has been a part of the team and has the longest-serving record in F1 as a team principal. His dream was to win an F1 constructors’ championship, but sadly, his best finish was 6th, which he achieved in three different seasons (2008, 2019, and 2021).

With a heavy heart, on April 26, 2024, he announced that he would be departing from his role as team principal at the end of the 2024 season. With a few days left, his impressive service for Alpha Tauri will come to an end.
