After every NFL season, there is a demand for a head coach. The reason is that the teams that struggled during the season often parted ways with their head coach. Most often, the teams that finish at the bottom of the table release their coaching staff. Similarly, after the 2024–24 season, eight teams parted ways with their head coaches. Eight teams have parted ways with their head coach. Here are the teams, along with their former coach and 2024–24 season record.

1. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers parted ways with Frank Reich mid-season and also released their interim head coach, Chris Tabor. They had one of their worst seasons in 2024, as they lost 15 games and only won two.

2. Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders parted ways with Ron Rivera, who was a part of the team for four seasons. Well, they had one of their worst seasons in 2024, as they lost 13 games and only won four.

3. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers parted ways with Brandon Staley mid-season and also released their interim head coach, Giff Smith. The reason was that they had one of their worst seasons in 2024, as they lost 12 games and only won five.

4. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans parted ways with Mike Vrabel, who was a part of the team for six seasons. Well, they had one of their disappointing seasons in 2024, as they lost 11 games and only won six.

5. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons parted ways with Arthur Smith, who was a part of the team for three seasons. Well, they had one of their disappointing seasons in 2024, as they lost ten games and only won seven.

6. Los Angeles Raiders

The Los Angeles Raiders parted ways with Josh McDaniels mid-season and also released their interim head coach, Antonio Pierce. Well, they had a disappointing outing in the 2024 season, as they lost nine games and won only eight.

7. Seattle Seahawks

Pete Carroll parted ways with the Seattle Seahawks after 14 seasons. He joined the team in 2010, and after 14 years, he decided to part ways with them.

8. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots parted ways with Bill Belichick, who was a part of the team for 24 seasons. He joined them in 2000, and after 24 years, the team decided to part ways with him. The reason might be that they had one of their worst seasons in 2024, as they lost 13 games and only won four.
