Matthijs de Ligt is unhappy at Bayern and may join a new club soon

The German defender, Matthijs de Ligt, is unhappy at Bayern Munich FC, as the player has warmed the bench more than he played on the ground. He has been subbed for all the matches he has played since July and, in recent times, hasn’t gotten much of the opportunity.

Bayern has found its center-backs in the form of Upamecano and Kim. They have played in the matches together and haven’t let de Ligt step on the field. This has led to disappointment and frustration for the young defender.

Even their head coach, Tuchel, said,

“As a center-back, you don’t get many opportunities to be subbed on.”

He also said that Matthijs de Ligt is 100% match-fit and deserves to play. Of course, his playing time so far is not enough, but he is a team player.

Looking at it, the player might not be a part of the team in the upcoming games, as Upamecano and Kim are their first-choice defenders. This will result in the player joining a new club as soon as he is 24 years old.

Teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid can show interest in him. He is one of the best defenders of his age and has a lot of capability.
