The Portuguese full-back has joined FC Barcelona on loan from Manchester City. The player was a part of Bayern Munich a few weeks ago on loan and is currently a part of the Spanish club. Recently, in an interview, Joao Cancelo said:
“I Always wanted to play in Barca Shirt, it was my dream – I’ll fight for it every day”
This clearly means that Barcelona would show interest in signing him through the transfer window. If the player loves a club and dreams of playing for them, he will play his very best in every game. Barcelona, under Xavi’s coaching, has performed well and would love to add more trophies to their cabinet.
Barcelona’s defense has always been tested by their opponents, and they have failed severely on a few occasions. With Joao Cancelo joining them, they might have the cure for their weakness.
