The Spanish football player, Alvaro Morata, has signed an extension contract with Atletico Madrid. He will be wearing the red and white jersey until 2027 and wants to win a title with them. While he made the announcement to the media, he also confessed that he was close to leaving the club.
“I was close to leaving… But I spoke to Simeone teammates, and then it was impossible to leave.”
He also said that he is dying to win a title with the club. Winning a title and celebrating with the crowd would be an amazing feeling, and it would be incredible. I want that at all costs, really!
In the 2024–24 season, Alvaro Morata has performed impressively for the club. He has made a total of nine appearances and scored seven goals. Morata has been one of the main reasons why they are standing 4th in the La Liga standings and 1st in the UEFA Championships league of their group.
