Premier League News: Billionaire Mukesh Ambani would prefer to buy Arsenal over Man United and Liverpool

Mukesh Ambani would prefer to buy Arsenal rather than Manchester United or Liverpool if he were to enter the football ownership business.

In the latest Premier League news, a lot of sources are claiming that Mukesh Ambani would prefer to buy Arsenal rather than Manchester United or Liverpool if he were to enter the football ownership business. Currently, Fenway Sports Group (FSG) put Liverpool up for sale last month after 12 years in charge, and the Glazer family quickly followed suit by putting United up for sale. The Glazers are said to want up to £9 million to leave United, which is a reasonable price for Ambani.

Is Arsenal up for sale?

Despite recent pressure from Arsenal fans, Stan Kroenke has refused to sell and has shown no sign of relinquishing control of the club. After the failed European Super League project, in which Arsenal was involved, protests were held outside the Emirates Stadium in April 2021.

Kroenke and his son Josh have previously been accused of not showing enough interest in Arsenal, despite Stan owning a number of sports teams in the United States, including the Los Angeles Rams and the Denver Nuggets.

However, after the rift between them and the fans, Kroenke has appeared to have gained some fans in the last 18 months, having spent heavily in the last two summer transfer windows. Arsenal spent £150 million on players such as Ben White and Martin Odegaard last year and high-profile players this summer and luring Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko this season.

So, the chances are less that Arsenal owners will let go of their ownership so quickly. Also, Arsenal are going through a project that is aiming to improve the team under Mikel Arteta, which seems to be working as Arsenal are currently the PL leader.
