Salah Might Lose His Penalty Privilege After Liverpool VS Arsenal Match

Mohammad Salah misses another penalty in a crucial penalty. So Klopp might have to rethink his decision. Who will be Liverpools next penalty kick taker?

The Egyptian king Mo Salah might lose his privileges as the Penalty taker of Liverpool FC after the clash between Liverpool and Arsenal. Liverpool manager Klopp assured the fans that he will talk with the winger about the future of his penalty duty.

Liverpool was trailing 2-1 and in the early hours of the second half, Diogo Jota went down in the box. And the spotlight was on Mohammad Salah, once again…after the first goal.

Salah teased power from the ensuing penalty but opened up his body and attempted to side-foot the ball with his left foot into the bottom corner. But it just missed the mark.

Though the Brazilian CF equalized later in the game, it was not enough to convince Klopp about the penalty duties. He has missed two consecutive penalties in a couple of weeks.

Klopp was seen celebrating before the penalty and a clip went viral. “I only saw the penalty after the game. A few people in the crowd reacted, so when you don’t see the penalty, you react on what the people see and a few people obviously thought the ball was in but it wasn’t.”

“He missed the goal. So that’s why for a second the fist, and then I realized, ‘Oh, Mo isn’t celebrating.’ And then I realized the ball wasn’t it. That’s it.’

Now if not him, then who? There are Jota or Gakpo who can comfortably replace him. But we can always hope for the redemption of the Egyptian King.
