Chelsea announced on Wednesday that forward Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid joined on a temporary loan for the remainder of the campaign. Chelsea added: “the artist has arrived”, while Felix tweeted: “Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives, so I am very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge,”. Felix made one of the most expensive transfers in history when he moved from Benfica to Atletico in 2019 for 126 million euros ($135 million). In 131 appearances for the team, Felix has scored 34 goals.
