The inning of 263/5 by the Royal Challengers Bangalore is not only the highest total in their history but also the highest in the IPL. Undoubtedly, this inning by Bangalore is the best in IPL history.
The reason is the Gayle storm that arrived at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Chris Gayle scored 175 runs on 66 balls. His inning comprised 13 fours and 17 sixes. Two more healthy contributions by Dilshan (33 runs) and de Villiers (31 runs) helped RCB post a total of 263 runs in 20 overs.

2. 248/3 against the Gujarat Lions in 2016
This inning by Royal Challengers Bangalore will always be remembered for ages. The reason was not one but two centuries of RCB superstars.
One is Ab de Villiers’s, and the second is Virat Kohli’s century. De Villiers scored 109 runs off 55 balls, and Kohli scored 109 runs off 55 balls. They collectively posted a target of 249 runs for the Gujarat Lions.
In return, the entire Gujarat Lions team couldn’t surpass Virat Kohli’s score of 109. RCB won the game by 144 runs, also one of the highest winning margins in IPL history.

3. 235/1 against the Mumbai Indians in 2015
The inning of 235/1 will always haunt the Mumbai Indians in their history. Credit goes to the alien Ab de Villers and King Virat Kohli.
Ab de Villers smashed Mumbai bowlers around the Wankhede Stadium and scored 133 runs in 59 balls. His innings comprised 19 fours and four sixes. Similarly, Virat Kohli scored 82 runs off 50 balls, and his inning included ten boundaries (six 4s and four 6s).
