Initially founded as Delhi Daredevils in the year 2008, Delhi capitals were renamed and appeared in the 2020 IPL season. Since the franchise’s name change, the team ranked 2nd and 3rd in the IPL season 2020 and 2021 respectively. The team is leaded by India’s star and young wicketkeeper-batsmen Rishabh Pant. But this year David Warner will be leading the Charge of the team due to the unavailability of Rishab Pant. The head coach of the team is the Australian legend, Ricky Ponting.
