On Monday night, the Houston Rockets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 119-114 thanks to a career-high 42 points from Jalen Green, ending their 13-game losing streak.
Green, the second-overall choice in the 2021 draught, led the Rockets to their first victory since Dec. 26 at Chicago with 21 points at halftime and continued his excellent play in the second half. Green recovered after scoring 10 points on just 3 of 13 shots in a defeat to the Timberwolves on Saturday night.
Coach Stephen Silas noticed Green’s motivation to play well right away on Monday night.
Silas declared, “He was prepared for tonight.” He was the driving force behind tonight’s 48-minute game, which was necessary for us to focus.
After his poor performance on Saturday, Jalen Green said that he was “a little in my head,” but it motivated him to improve. He was ecstatic that Houston’s skid was broken thanks to his excellent performance.
It feels great; he remarked. “My teammates and coaches depended on me. That was essential. We were in dire need of it. We went out and performed. Also Read: Detroit Pistons vs Milwaukee Bucks Final Injury Report date – 23/01/2023: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo Playing against Detroit Pistons tonight?
