Most wins in F1 by a driver
1. Lewis Hamilton: 103 wins
The British racer Sir Lewis Hamilton has the most wins in F1 by a driver, with a total of 103 wins. All these wins have helped him win seven F1 World Championships, which is also the joint-most by any driver in F1 history.
Hamilton won his first race at the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix, and his last victory was at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He is still an active driver in Formula 1 and races for the Mercedes team.
2. Michael Schumacher: 91 wins
The Ferrari Legend and the GOAT of F1 come in second on the list with 91 wins. Similarly, all these wins have helped him win seven F1 World Championships, which is also the joint-most by any driver. His first win came at the 1992 Belgian Grand Prix, and his last win was at the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix.
3. Sebastian Vettel: 53 wins
Red Bull legend Sebastian Vettel has won 53 Grand Prix, which is the third highest in F1 history. One of the most interesting facts about those 53 wins is that nine of them were consecutive in one season. His first win was at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix, and his last win was at the 2019 Singapore Grand Prix.

4. Alain Prost: 51 wins
The list will always be incomplete without Alain Prost. Prost had won 51 Grand Prix in his legendary F1 career. He was the first driver in F1 history to win 50 Grand Prix. His first win was at the 1981 French Grand Prix, and his last win came at the 1993 German Grand Prix.
5. Max Verstappen: 47 wins
All the above racers are legends in F1 history, whereas Verstappen is a legend in the making. He is just 25 years old and has won 47 Grand Prix. Before entering the 2024 F1 season, he only had 35 grand prix wins, and in the ongoing season, he has won 12 grand prix so far. With many F1 races and F1 seasons left in his career, Verstappen will surely find himself in the top 3 of the list.
6. Ayrton Senna: 41 wins
The Brazilian legend, Senna, had 41 wins in his legendary F1 career. Well, the wins in his F1 career don’t justify how good he was. His first win came at the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix, and his last win came at the 1993 Australian Grand Prix.

7. Fernando Alonso: 32 wins
The fresh and young blood of F1, Fernando Alonso, with 32 wins, ranks 7th on the list. He started his F1 career in 2001 and won his first race at the 2003 Hungarian Grand Prix. He is still a part of the current F1 grid and races for the Aston Martin team.
8. Nigel Mansell: 31 wins
In 8th place, we have Nigel Mansell, with 31 wins in his F1 career. His first win was at the 1985 European Grand Prix. His last win came at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix.
9. Jackie Stewart: 27 wins
Another British racer with 27 wins in Formula 1 finds his place on the list. Stewart started his F1 career in 1965 and won his first Grand Prix in his very first F1 season at the Italian Grand Prix. On the other hand, his last win came at the 1973 German Grand Prix.
10. Jim Clark and Niki Lauda: 25 wins each
For the 10th position, we have a tie between Jim Clark and Niki Lauda. Both won 25 races each and were Formula 1 champions in their respective careers. Jim Clark is from the United Kingdom, whereas Niki Lauda is from Austria.
