The Alpha Tauri F1 Team had multiple drivers racing for them throughout the last season. They began the season with Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries at the start. Later, de Vries was replaced by Daniel Ricciardo because of his inconsistent performances. Then Ricciardo was replaced by Liam Lawson due to an injury.
Finally, Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo raced for them at the end and will continue in the 2024 season. But if we look at the most impressive performance among these four drivers, it was Liam Lawson who did great.
The youngster only competed in five races and scored two points. Moreover, he ranked the car in a better position in qualifying and racing.
Lawson impressed everyone with his performances and was a top contender for the Visa Cash App RB (Alpha Tauri) seat. But considered a rookie, he didnโt get a seat in the VCARB 1. Despite not getting selected, Lawson believes he is ready for Formula 1.

Liam Lawson states he is ready for Formula 1
โYou have the whole world looking at you, and I think without dealing with those high-pressure situations from a young age, I probably wouldnโt have been so ready for it.โ
He also mentioned dealing with pressure within the Red Bull Junior Program:
โWhen I was 16 years old, I was being told on a call that if you donโt perform in the next race, you are out of the program; having that at such a young age is stressful.โ
Liam Lawson is currently serving as a reserve driver for the Red Bull Racing Team. He is one of the top contenders for Sergio Perezโs seat in the Red Bull. If not Red Bull, he also has other options.
