Alpha Tauri is yet to decide on its two drivers for the 2024 season: Yuki, Ricciardo, or Lawson

The 2024 F1 season has been magical for some, whereas for some teams, things have really gone wrong, and Alpha Tauri is one of them. The team started with Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck De Vries as their drivers for the 2024 season, but now things have changed a lot.

With a lot of disheartening performances from Nyck De Vries, he was removed from the Alpha Tauri team, and Daniel Ricciardo was given his seat. Ricciardo joined the team at the Hungarian Grand Prix and raced two Grand Prix with them until he injured his hand. He was hospitalized as soon as possible and was expected to miss a couple of races.

As a result, the team brought in Liam Lawson as a replacement for Daniel Ricciardo, who has outperformed all three drivers of Alpha Tauri. He also managed to score points for the team and has placed his name ahead of everyone for the Alpha Tauri seat.

Yuki, on the other hand, has struggled a lot with the car. He has managed to score only 3 points this season, and recently, in the past couple of races, he hasn’t managed to complete the race.

Well, only two among Yuki, Ricciardo, and Lawson will get a seat in the Alpha Tauri, and one may end up as a reserve driver or maybe not. Experts are knocking Yuki out of the seat, but let’s wait and see what decision the Alpha Tauri team will take.

It is sad to see that Alpha Tauri is at the bottom of the table in the 2024 F1 Constructors Championship. With seven races left in the season, they have a chance to move up from the 10^th position.
