The 2025 Formula 1 season is one of the most anticipated in recent times. The reason is that several drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, will be seen representing different teams in the next season. Some of the names that will be seen on other teams are Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, and more if their contracts aren’t renewed.

Alex Albon said:
“There are opportunities around. There is a very fluid driver market right now. It is exciting.”
As mentioned, Albon is one of the drivers who might be seen on another team if Williams doesn’t extend his contract. Moreover, he is one of the most consistent drivers on the grid, and a few teams might want to have him on their team.
When Albon was asked about his contract extension with the Williams, he said:
“Let’s see. Time will tell. If the team is aware of where I want them to be, it will be a long-term contract. It will be all the way or nothing.”

Should Alex Albon stay at Williams or move to another team?
Albon’s contract with the Williams Racing Team will expire in 2025. Will Williams extend his contract, or will another team offer him one? Only time will let us know. But we think Albon deserves a grid upgrade.
Williams hasn’t produced a championship-competitive car, and Albon staying with them in a slower car is a waste of talent. But with the drama of Hamilton moving to Ferrari and Red Bull looking for Sergio Perez’s replacement, he might see him in a better car.
Alpine has had a severe downfall this season. On the other hand, McLaren has a fixed line-up until 2026. Regarding the grid upgrade, Red Bull, Mercedes, and Aston Martin are the only options.
From whom will Albon race after the 2025 season? Let us know your views in the comment section.
