The 2024-24 season has been a complete roller coaster ride for the New York Knicks. They are standing in the middle of the points table and have performed average. Last season, they made it to the conference semifinals but lost to the Miami Heat. They are trying to put on a similar show this year but have occasionally lacked.
One of the main reasons is that the Knicks have a young squad. Most of their players are around 24 and do not have much experience.
Looking at their lack of star power, ESPN analyst Stephen Smith said:
“I am a bigger star than most of the New York Knicks!”
Smith was quite disappointed and said they couldn’t get a bigger star. The only stars that play in their home games are from the away team.
