The 2024 NFL season has been one of the most competitive as well as one of the most dominant. Teams like the Commanders, Panthers, and Cardinals have struggled to win games. The San Francisco 49ers have rarely lost a game. One of the main reasons is their quarterback, Brock Purdy. The rookie has been an absolute beast and is currently the second-best quarterback of the season.
Last night, against the Washington Commanders, Purdy pulled off one of the best performances. With 230 passing yards in that game, he got the golden number of 4280 yards, which is the single-season record in San Francisco 49ers history.
He surpassed the legendary Jeff Garcia, who had 4278 yards in 2000, and created history for the team. This is just the second NFL season of his career, and he has a long way to go. Surely, Brock Purdy will create many more records for the team in the upcoming years.
