“Alex Pereira is one of the scariest fighters in the UFC,” says Dana White

Recently, in an interview with Dana White, he was asked about the three scariest fighters in the UFC. Well, he named Derrick Lewis, Jon Jones, and Alex Pereira as the three scariest fighters in the UFC at the moment.

The first name that came into his head was Derrick Lewis, who currently holds the record for most knockouts in UFC history. While mentioning his name, he said, “Lewis is one of the most powerful dudes with whom I have been in the UFC.”

The second name that came into his mind was Jon Jones, who is currently the UFC heavyweight champion and a former UFC light heavyweight champion. Jones also holds the record for the longest unbeaten streak in UFC history and is the youngest champion in UFC history.

The last name that he mentioned was Alex Pereira. While mentioning his name, he said,

“Alex Pereira is one of the scariest fighters in the UFC! When you look at the guy, he looks like a stone-cold fu**ing killer.”

Pereira recently became the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and is a former UFC Middleweight Champion. He is one of the first fighters in UFC history to become a champion in multiple weight classes. He has a great record in the UFC ring and has lost only one fight of the seven fights he has fought. Moreover, four wins have come by knockouts, and the remaining two have come by decision.

Before UFC, Pereira had one of the best careers in kickboxing history and had won multiple championships. The Brazilian fighter was once an alcohol addict, and now he is a UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Can he script one of the best title reigns in UFC history? Only time will let us know.
