Football great Cristiano Ronaldo has announced on his official Instagram handle that he’ll open a new restaurant ‘Totó’ in the Middle East with Mabel Hospitality along with tennis star Rafael Nadal and other sportspersons, the likes of Pau Gasol, and Rudy Fernandez.
On his Instagram post, Ronaldo announced the news with the caption: “I present my favorite Italian restaurant in Madrid: ‘Toto’. And so also in the Middle East.”
Nadal and his partners Manuel Campos Guallar and Abel Matutes Prats started a restaurant business back in 2014 by opening ‘Tatel’ in Madrid. Tatel has now expanded to Beverly Hills, Ibiza, and Doha. Rafael Nadal sustained a grade 2 iliopsoas injury in the second round of this year’s Australian Open. To recover from this hip injury, he announced taking rest till he recovers from the injury.
He suffered the injury in the second set against Mackenzie McDonald in a 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 defeat. Owing to this injury, the 36-year-old has withdrawn from the upcoming ATP tournaments in Doha and Dubai. Coach Juan Carlos Ferrero has hailed the World No.6 for still having that desire to win the Grand Slam titles this year. “Rafa and Djokovic have earned to be there, you can’t exclude them.
