Over the past couple of seasons, football has seen the rise of Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland. The term goal-scoring machine is often used after his name because he has scored goals for fun. Whether it be the Premier League or the Champions League, he has an average of at least one goal per game.
Recently, in an interview, his clubmate Rodri was asked about who is better. Haaland, or the Spanish footballer Alvaro Morata. Well, the answer from Rodri might surprise you.
The Spanish footballer, Rodri, replied,
“Obviously, Alvaro Morata is better than Erling Haaland!”
Here is his complete statement: “The truth is that I’m very lucky to play with both of them. Alvaro has been playing for the national team for many years, he is up there with the greats of our history.”
To be honest, both are great players and have done exceptionally well for the team in football. Morata has spent most of his career playing in Spain. Whereas, Erling Haaland has recently moved to England and is having a blast out there. Both have represented various football clubs and have given impressive performances for them.
Well, Rodri believes that Morata is a better player than Haaland. It is quite a controversial response, but he has his say. Whether Morata is better than Haaland, do let us know in the comments section. Till then, let’s take a look at their stats and club achievements.
