Virat Kohli became the fastest player in history to score 13,000 ODI runs. He took only 267 innings to achieve this milestone and is the sixth batter to do so. Earlier, the record was held by the GOD of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, who took 321 innings to achieve the milestone. Other players who have completed the milestone of 13000 runs are Ricky Pointing, Kumar Sangakkara, and Sanath Jayasuriya.

2. Fastest player to complete 47 centuries in ODI

Virat Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to become the fastest player to complete 47 centuries in ODIs. He scored his 47^th ODI hundred against Pakistan at the 2024 Asia Cup. King scored 122 runs off 94 balls, striking out at 129. The innings included nine fours and three sixes against one of the strongest pace attacks. Earlier, the record was held by Sachin Tendulkar, who took 435 innings to complete his 47^th ODI hundred.

3. Joint Most Centuries in Asia Cup (ODI)

With his 77^th international century against Pakistan, Kohli smashed his 4^th ODI century in the Asia Cup. He and Sanath Jayasuriya hold the record for the joint-most centuries in the Asia Cup (ODI). This is also his fifth century in the Asia Cup.
