IPL Mega Auction 2025 Rules
With the mega auction, almost every team would like to have a young baseline with some experience. Also, we might see the same mega auction rule as in 2022.
- No right to match card
- The team retaining four players will have to spend 42 crores (16 crores for the first pick, 12 crores for the second, 8 crores for the third, and 6 crores for the fourth).
- The team retaining three players will have to spend 33 crores (15 crores for the first pick, 11 crores for the second, and 7 crores for the third).
- A maximum of two overseas players can be retained.
- There is no limit on retention for capped players.
- A maximum of two uncapped players can be retained.
