The Sports Hub, Trivandrum, also called Greenfield International Stadium or Trivandrum International Stadium, is a multi-use venue in Kerala that is primarily used for cricket. The stadium is situated in the Kariavattom neighbourhood of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The Kerala University leased 36 acres of land for its construction. It is the country’s first outdoor DBOT (design, build, operate, and transfer) stadium. On November 7, 2017, when it hosted a T20I match against New Zealand, the Greenfield Stadium became India’s 50th international cricket venue. The venue hosted its first ODI on November 1 of last year.
The primary location for the Kerala cricket team is the Trivandrum International Stadium. International football and cricket matches can be played on the field thanks to its layout. Greenfield International Stadium Boundary Length
The Greenfield Stadium’s playing surface is not very large. The square boundaries are approximately 65 metres, whereas the straighter boundaries are approximately 70 metres. Even though the pitch is not great in length, it will still be tough for the batters as the pitch is pretty much for the Bowlers.
