2019
Avinash won the silver medal in his debut international event, at the 2019 Asian Athletics Championships in Doha. Sable broke his own record at the World Championships in October 2019. Sable became the first Indian to qualify for the 3000 meters steeplechase final at the World Championships. Another national record by Sable was attained at the 2020 Delhi Half Marathon, where he completed the run in less than 61 minutes.
At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Sable was the fastest non-qualifier across all heats, where he finished seventh with new national record (8:18.12).
2022
He also created new histories in the year of 2022. His first record is at the Indian Grand Prix (8:16.21), and then at the Meeting International Mohamed VI in Rabat (8:12.48), placing 5th.
