Game 4 just like games 1 and 2 went down to the last minute where the experienced warriors showed some nerves over the young Grizzlies. The Grizzlies played well as a team without Morant and dominated the paint against the smaller Warrior lineup with Steven Adams getting the start and good minutes. They were leading by 3 with 1:11 to go in the 4th quarter but couldn’t quite hold on and were outscored 8-2 in the final minute by the Warriors, thanks to Curry’s free throw shooting and Green’s clutch defensive stop.
The inexperience of the Grizzlies team was evident in the last minute of the 4th quarter when they committed a bad foul on one end and took a bad three-pointer on the other giving the Warriors every opportunity to capitalise even though they were trailing throughout the game. Both teams shot 40% from the field and it appeared that the Grizzlies will take this one home given the Warriors shot poorly from behind the arc, only 24% compared to 25% of the Grizzlies. Curry led the match in scoring with 32 points, and Jackson Jr. led Memphis in absence of Morant with 21 points.
Match Preview Golden State Warriors
Game 4 win for Steve Kerr and his Warriors, as a result of the inexperience of the young Grizzlies who failed to finish strong and after leading through the entire game, gave it away in the final 60 seconds of the fourth quarter. The warriors had a rough shooting night which will not be the case in game 5 and they will be looking to wrap up the series on road to get some rest before the Finals. With Ja Morant doubtful for the rest of the playoffs, the Warriors know they have an edge over the inexperienced Grizzlies and will look to take away game 5.
Match Preview Memphis Grizzlies
Coach Jenkins has done an amazing job with this young and deep Memphis team. Grizzlies figured out a way to fight against the Warriors by bringing in their bigs and dominating the paint against a small warriors lineup which excels only when the three-ball is going down which was not the case on Monday. With Morant still under question, they will look forward to continuing with the same strategy going into game 5 to force a Game 6 on road and keep their hopes alive in the 2021-22 playoffs.
They need to be as gallant as they were in game 4 and learn from the mistakes and improve in the next game.

Best Picks
Steph Curry
The best shooter in NBA history who has the capability of scoring not just from behind the 3 point line but also finishing at the rim. He averaged 25.5 PPG during the regular season.
Jarrett Jackson Jr.
With Morant out, he is their leading scorer, he can grab the board for the Grizzlies and shoot the 3-ball as well for the Grizzlies.
Jordan Poole
With both teams playing small-ball lineups, Poole is the key to the warriors’ success taking the scoring load away from Curry and Thompson and getting his shots and assists.
