The former Cowboys’ cornerback and a member of the Steelers practice squad will be playing for the 49ers. As per sources, Anthony Brown has signed a contract with the San Francisco 49ers and will join their 53-man roster.
Anthony Brown was a part of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad until this week. The reason is that he is now a part of the 49ers and will be a part of the team in the upcoming week.
The 49ers needed a cornerback as they lost both cornerbacks, Samuel Womack and Charvarius Ward, in weeks 1 and 2, respectively. Womack is suffering from a knee injury, whereas Ward is suffering from a heel injury. They both will be out of action for a couple of weeks, and Antony Brown will be a perfect replacement for them in the squad.
He has been a part of the league since 2016 and is a vastly experienced player. Well, surprisingly, with players getting injured, they have managed to win both their matches and would love to continue. Till then, let’s know more about Anthony Brown.
