Jaylen Brown scores season-high 41 points, Celtics beat Pelicans

Tatum and Brown, in the opinion of Boston interim coach Joe Mazzulla, are applying the lessons from last season's mistakes.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics to their fourth straight victory on Wednesday night, defeating the New Orleans Pelicans 125-114 with a season-high 41 points and 12 rebounds.

Brown thinks they can progress to a higher level. Perhaps their most recent performance was a glimpse of what was to come.

According to their statistics this year, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, the studs of the Boston Celtics, are playing even better together than they did when their team advanced to the NBA Finals the previous year. Malcolm Brogdon had 20 points, Jayson Tatum added 31 points, Al Horford had 14, and made four 3-pointers. In their last five home games, the Celtics have prevailed.

Brown remarked, “I don’t think this is the finest you will see.” “We still have more career-related boundaries to cross, in my opinion. This is only a step in the procedure.”

Tatum and Brown, in the opinion of Boston interim coach Joe Mazzulla, are applying the lessons from last season’s mistakes.

“It’s a really strong thing to get to that point in your career where you know you need each other and you know you need your colleagues,” Mazzulla said.

“He has started to move. How consistent he is is astonishing “Willie Green, the Pelicans’ coach, stated. “Unfortunately, tonight we just fell short.”
