The Australian racing driver Daniel Ricciardo is currently a part of the Alpha Tauri F1 team and will race for them in the 2024 season. He began his F1 journey in 2011 with the Hispania F1 team, and since then he has represented four different constructors in his F1 career. Only a few know that Ricciardo’s F1 journey began as a reserve driver for the Toro Rosso F1 team (Alpha Tauri/Racing Bulls) and is currently racing for them. Well, recently he said something that has caught the attention of several F1 fans.
Daniel Ricciardo said,
“To end my career as a Red Bull driver would be perfect.”
So far in his F1 career of over a decade, he has represented Hispania, Toro Rosso (Alpha Rauri/Racing Bulls), Red Bull, and the McLaren F1 team. To be precise, he has been part of 13 F1 seasons and has 32 podium finishes along with 8 Grand Prix wins. Among those 8 wins, 7 came when he was part of the Red Bull F1 team, and his best finish of 3rd in the driver’s championship came with them.
His dream of winning the F1 World Championship isn’t completed yet, and having a seat in the Red Bull seat will give him a great chance. Also, with the seat of Sergio Perez in danger, he is one of the top drivers to replace him. Whether his F1 journey ends with Red Bull, only time will let us know. Till then, let us look at his F1 career stats.
